On select items, Collectable will enable Group Bidding, a unique tool which allows verified accredited investors to pool their bids together to own fractional interests in an asset up for BWIC Auction. For example, take a $100,000 Mickey Mantle baseball card up for auction. Instead of needing to afford the full $100,000 to own the card, bidders can now bid $10,000 to own 10% of the card - fractionally. Once an asset is acquired in Group Bidding, it is securitized by Collectable via Reg D. The intention is to then convert these assets to tradeable shares once the SEC signs off. Until then, these assets will be available for buy-out offers at any time. Additionally liquidity opportunities will be created on a structured cadence, as well.
