Reg A+ is the mechanism by which Collectable is able to provide investment opportunities to both accredited and unaccredited investors. In brief, Reg A+ allows companies to raise up to $75 million in capital from the public without a registered IPO. Reg A+ still requires companies to file with the SEC and have their offerings qualified by the SEC, but Regulation A’s restrictions and associated filing fees are significantly lower. Collectable essentially creates a separate entity (“Series”) for each offering. The value of each entity is then split into equity shares and offered via an “Initial Offering” where investors can purchase these shares and build their portfolios.
